@theChristiancowgirl here’s the first solo for I’ll fly away, it’s Carter style, and pretty easy. There’ll be another lesson for the crosspicking solo, and then a demo of them both together. Hope it helps

Ok here’s part two, the crosspicking solo. It’s a bit tricky, but very fun. I hope I slowed it down enough, if you have any crosspicking experience it shouldn’t be a problem, just watch the pick strokes, lots of syncopation and two upstrokes in a row.
Oh, and if you want to play it in G (like if you’re playing with a banjo player) just capo 5
