The humor thread (formerly Sunday funny)

I guess that’s what keeps our world going round

Nice spin, haha.
I think I know the secret. It’s opportunity economy vs “opportunity” economy (i.e. opportunists’ economy), at least in part.
I have explained it elsewhere a few months before, maybe will explain it in rights thread.

Nate Lee made reference to a youtube video that had him and Sam Bush duel with fiddle bows for his blue chip pick. I had to look it up, it’s actually pretty funny. They have some other guests along with the band show what they would do for their blue chip (I guess it was a parody of the “What Would you do for a Klondike bar” commercials)

With the water shortage coming, the church council voted to change the name to the “First Southern Baptist of Sutter Gulch.”

I see you have a dry sense of humor.

How much water do First Southern Baptist’s need?

I’m gonna guess that the water needed would be enough for an immersion.

I guess the C of Scot is a little more conservative. All that is required is a thimbleful to make a cross on ones forehead.

There was once a little worm who lived in an apple and heard there would be a flood to wipe out all life. He heard that Noah was building an ark to save all the animals. He rolled up to Noah in his little apple, and ran right into his ankle to get his attention. Noah said “what would you like friend?” the worm replied “I wanted a spot on your boat.” Noah just nodded his head and said “Sorry little guy, we only take animals in pears, not apples.”

Not really “funny” but more of a “laugh to keep from crying” thing.

If you thought Taylor Swift killed country music, someone just came along to make sure it was buried proper.
