Been spending a lot of time on my telecaster and strat doing lead licks to Hendrix and Pink Floyd. Also mixing in some strumming on the D18, and playing with the mandolin every few days as well.
What are y'all up to?
He’s super nice and down to earth. I’ve worked with him running sound several times. He’ll be in Palatka with Southern Legacy the Saturday of the festival. Great band!
I met him a few years back in Stirling when he was over in Scotland with Tony Furtado really nice guy.
Sold the Loar Gibson, yeehaw! Flying to Ohio tomorrow to deliver it to the next caretaker.
Hey, my in-laws live in Ohio. I’m thinking they may have done a little Christmas shopping for me. It only makes sense. Let’s Gooooo!!!
Heading to Tennessee tomorrow to pick up a stud colt Tennessee Walker that I traded a banjo for! Excited to get him…he’s 6 months old right now.

This is a very well-trained Tennessee Walker. You’re planning on doing this, right, @BanjoBen?!
Wow! That’s pretty cool!
My sisters are very jealous. They decided to trade all my instruments for a horse!!! (benefits them in two ways)
That is a really pretty horse!
Good deal! Cashless economy!
I mean horse v. banjo. Horse wins every time.
Are you sure?? Ben had banjo; Trader had horse. So, who won - Ben or Trader??!!
Living on a farm and being a musician lets me speak from experience: Banjo Ben won.
You see, you can ride a horse, and the horsehair is used to play a fiddle.
A banjo you can also play, but much harder to ride.
Yeah, no kidding!
Sounds like a personal skill issue
