Praying for you and your family
What are y'all up to?
Even my grandkids love Wierd Al. My favorite part. Owwwwww.
We appreciate all your prayers. Mom passed away this afternoon. She will be missed.
Jeff,
It doesn’t matter how old you are, it’s never easy to lose a parent. Our condolences for your loss.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18
Thanks, Greg, and so true. But mom is now home. She had a special bond with her dad who passed away over 45 years ago. Two days ago she looked up and my daughter asked who she saw. My mom smiled broadly and simply said,”Dad”. Then she fell into a lasting deep sleep.
Sorry folks. I’ll stop now. Y’all take care.
Thanks, Ben (@BanjoBen). You may not recall, but at a camp three years ago you prayed for my mom when we thought we lost her then. She lived three more healthy and happy years. I’ll never forget your heartfelt words. Thanks again.
Okay. Now I’ll be done. Take care all.
Sorry to hear that. Will continue praying
I’m praying for you and your family, @JKL. So sorry for your loss.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
John 11:25-26 KJV
Y’all are in my prayers, Jeff. What amazing memories!
In prayers Jeff!! You know, it is just unfathomable for us here on earth to imagine all of the great things she is experiencing now. Most of us left here on earth have a difficult time dealing with the times when our loved ones pass. And for those in Christ, it is just that… a passing. Leaving this earthly existence, to be with our Father for eternity! What a wonderful thing!!!
So sorry @JKL,
Jeff, may God bless you and your whole family.
I lost Mom the week of Thanksgiving last year - the week of her 90th Birthday. She didn’t make her Birthday on Thanksgiving Day… but I was thankful she was with the Lord and with my late Father.
I had the opportunity to play for a square dance group last night, what an experience! The rhythm guitarist was playing a 1935 Martin parlor guitar. The sound he was getting from that small guitar was crazy. The number of fiddle tunes I can pick is about to grow larger.
Here’s where I am this week. I’m frustrating the teachers at Camp Bluegrass!
Spotted the @BanjoBen Bunnet adorned by none other than Mr Alan Munde himself. Now that’s what I consider an endorsement!
All you got to do now Ben is to persuade Bill Evans to wear one too.
Awesome! If you get a chance, sit in on one of Dede Wyland’s vocal classes and tell her I sent you.
@Bhive, the bass player is one of my dearest old friends. She and I went through the bluegrass program together at SPC. She played bass in many bands I was in. Please tell Ann I said hello.
Just finished loading the car and uploading the new lesson to the site…now we begin a 30+ hour drive to Montana!
