We started doing a 2 year inspection period but I alway dread going in for inspection. For the majority of my life, I’ve driven older vehicles. I always feel judged and expecting the worst when my vehicle was getting inspected.

There was a time I used to drive a bag of bones, it was a miracle when it got passed inspection usually the under belly, brake pipes or exhaust was rusty sometimes worn tyres or worn-out suspension resulted in a fail or costly repair. Back in those days I always drove Fords. When I retired I stared to buy six year old Vauxhall’s and replace them every four years. This one has held up a lot longer time, I’ve had it 6 or 7 years :red_car:

I’ve just gotten a job at a uniform service (cleaning and delivery) that’s actually owned by a man named Bill Munroe :joy: :joy:
It’s hard work, I’m up as early as 3am some days, but I’m usually finished by about 1 or 2pm, so I have free afternoons. And it pays pretty well.

I’ve also been playing at the farmer’s market for tips (usually very good money), and I played some at the harvest festival last week for fun, and some dude gave me $5 to play take me home country roads lol

@Dragonslayer, you keep the commandment (I Thes 4:11) and it will bring you blessing! No need to work too hard though unless it allows you time to pursue your musical passion.

I know how you feel, I was up last night at two and layed awake until three then I heard rain so I hiked a couple hundred yards down the mountain to cover my brick kiln that was still cooling, then I really was AWAKE, needless to say I am sluggish today

Got stuck driving behind this yesterday…
With the blunt job description on the back end, gotta wonder if there was a ‘Now Hiring’ sign on the front end… :grimacing:

Very nice! I also have seen the slogan “Number one in the number two business” on similar trucks

!!!

Ok I guess it’s not that big a deal; I just sang baritone on one track with the quartet, recording in a humble studio– A.K.A the church library (this is our pastor’s album).

But never pass up an opportunity to name-drop, right…?

Is Andy Leftwich your pastor?

No, he’s a friend of the church; I think we met him through either brother Travis or his pastor Ron Ralph.
