Wow, that’s very interesting… I guess I would like to work in g**tr cnt*r, mostly to improve their in-store customer service/banjo setups.
What are y'all up to?
Gunnar, that all sounds very USA. Are you back in the states?
Yep! I got back to Beaumont last sunday (not two days ago, last week)
Welcome back!
Also Gunnar, why did you not try to steer her to banjo/mando/guitar/bluegrass? What kind of BBC member are you?
Thanks!
Ha! Well, she was specifically looking for an ukulele, and her price range didn’t include any of those instruments. Also, you forget where I was, I wouldn’t steer anyone towards one of their mandos or banjos
True…
Should have asked the Employee for a commission on the Sale.
The important thing is to make sure you sell them the extended service plan!
I’m flying out tomorrow afternoon to Bentonville, Arkansas…to be picked up by Jake…to be driven toward Cassville, Missouri…TO SEE MY NEW STORE BUILDING I BOUGHT! WUTT!!!
Are you hiring? I can tune a triangle and sweep a floor… Congrats!
Wow… you gonna do a brick and mortar store? Sweet!
BTW, Bentonville has some awesome mountain biking nearby. I could be talked into a trip.
Yeah!!! If I’m ever in the area I’ll be sure to stop in, but I don’t know if that’s gonna happen any time soon.
I actually did, in jest… but they hadn’t completed the money transfer yet so he was like nah
Awesome! Make a video?
I just found out about that via YouTube, apparently Walmart built all the trails
Yep, a brick and mortar and I’ll make a little video for the forum fam. We’re a ways out from official opening and announcement. We’re having to do a lot of remodeling, adding, cleaning. We’re excited, though! It should help us do more volume and serve folks better.
Awesome, safe travels @BanjoBen. If you forget anything I’m sure Bentonville has a walmart to grab a replacement.
It’s been a long weekend with robotics comp, playing in church and ski lessons, but I’m finally sitting down with my banjo and mandolin for a little. I just came up with an original tune, I’ll make a recording soon. It’s been way to long since I was at a jam, or even just picked bluegrass with my friends. I found out a model railroader I know plays banjo the other day.
New pup and I are getting along well. He seems to be a pretty quick learner. He even cuddles when he’s not stealing my spot!
Look at those ears! He looks like a bat, and I mean that only in the best way! Congrats!
One guy said a kangaroo, so bat isn’t bad!!
I’m in trouble if he grows into them!!
But don’t think he’ll get too much bigger, just a little filled out.
Occasionally missing my old guy, he was so sweet.
Suppose I need to update my photo now!!
