TX bound trip pics

Well, so far so good. Weathers been gorgeous & No roadside issues - :+1:
Spent the nite at Poverty Point reservoir state park in Delhi LA. Super nice Campground. Pretty place. Lots of nature trails. And bear warnings. (Didn’t see any bears tho.) Did not get the chance to check out the World Heritage Indian Mounds that are there as we didn’t unhook the truck.

Let me guess, that is the Ruston, LA Whataburger. I’m way too familiar with I-20.

Beautiful scenery @Simone excepting the Whatabuger sign kinda distorts the landscape of those lovely power lines.:rofl::rofl:

Previous powerline sunset pic was actually taken for Banjoson, he’s got an interesting collection of pics similar…

Since Banjoson is into powerlines see how the Scottish Powerlines are blotting our landscapes too

I figured there must be at least Ten Thousand!

Such a big number means, it is a big, big state to have a 635 mile long road!!

Texas length and width are about 800 miles so that explains it… https://www.google.com/search?q=texas+state+width+in+miles&client=firefox-b-1-d&ei=MFyAYb6eBouoqtsP7t-f0As&oq=texas+state+width+in+miles&gs_lcp=Cgxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAQAzoHCAAQRxCwA0oECEEYAFD18AxYnvkMYMX7DGgBcAJ4AIABlgGIAcIFkgEDMC41mAEAoAEByAEIuAEDwAEB&sclient=gws-wiz-serp&ved=0ahUKEwi-9rP1jfjzAhULlGoFHe7vB7oQ4dUDCA4&uact=5

Lovely pics. Simone!

Thanks!
I don’t use filters on my pics, and that one came out so nice. Only thing I do to post them on here is crop and screenshot them down to a smaller upload size.

I thought AL was huge when we moved there…:grimacing::grin::rofl:

Well we made it to Longview!
Pics are pretty TX sunset from last nite. Would have posted it then, but I think verizon here is overwhelmed w users in the evening, and I could hardly do anything online with my phone!

We’re probably smaller than you but I think we are unique in a way where our length and breadth are equal!
