It was kinda sad throwing away these strings, they were played by the great Dragonslayer! :sob::joy:

I’ve felt that way when Bryan and Jake have played my strings. :joy:

I would probably get a display case for those…

Well y’all, I have transitioned to 1.4mm picks. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my mandolin tone.

@Mason_Crone
Now you know why I had no use for those picks sent in the mail :grin:. Perhaps they’re fine on other instruments…?

Since we’re talking about it I think I’ve finally sold my guitar pickn’ friend on the 1.4 primetones too.

(Picking up about the favorite recordings)

My most recent ones that come to mind: Skaggs and Rice, AKUS So long, so wrong, Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon

One of these things is not like the other

Lindbloms are gonna love this…

I actually listen to the Landmark album all the time. They make very good goat milking tunes. :joy:
I also listened to the Deep into the Heart album the other day and it was really good.

Have you heard our new album?
(Not that it compares, just curious)

Nope. I don’t have any streaming services, I just listen to everything on YouTube haha.

I actually might like that one even better than Landmark, because it has vocals

Yeah, the vocals were good. I was also really impressed with the fiddle playing.
