Thanks Simone, Dave, Archie. Also like the songs in D. Most the time I cheat and capo playing out of the C position or single/double string the D chord but it’s not the same as playing out of the full chord on leads and backup. It’s always a good left hand workout and RH timing exercise for tone. The struggle is real (haha).

Working tonight on Big Spike Hammer. Still a few timing issues but I think if I practice with a jam track I can iron that out.

Archie’s post of Jackson/Campbell playing Hartford’s tune Gentle on My Mind got me knocking the cob webs off of this one in my practice today. Really like Campbell’s riff with it and tried to get something close to it into the way I learned the song. It’s a nice tune for jamming.
