haha… in their dreams!! Is that science fiction or pseudo-science fiction story?? I mean, what is the connection between science and controlling?? In that case, what is needed is “born-again” machines to let us to be free! :joy:

Put this in your pipe & smoke it!

I don’t smoke. Love this old hymn.

Interesting tidbit: It’s not that old, by hymn standards. It was first performed in 1918 in The Planets Suite by Gustav Holst. It is one section of “Jupiter.”
One music scholar described the passage “As if we’re listing to something that always existed.”

What I meant to convey was, science involves unbiased observations. But when a tone that is not relevant to science is added to a fiction, my thinking is, why such stories take cover under science? But if it is ok, why not such tone to be for good rather than to be for bad? Instead of controlling people, let stories come out with good thoughts like freeing people! I guess I make sense!

It’s used a lot at British Military Church Services - Church Parade

Your premise is wrong. Every observation comes with a bias, whether it is cultural, religious, linguistic or even scientific.

I don’t know if science is being redefined but here is a definition…

" science , any system of knowledge that is concerned with the physical world and its phenomena and that entails unbiased observations and systematic experimentation. In general, a science involves a pursuit of knowledge covering general truths or the operations of fundamental laws."

It was a comic, my brothers.
