I noticed Jake used to as well. Seems to have built his speed since he switched styles.

He used to. He now refers back to it as a bad habit and feels that he got his speed and cleanness when he stopped.

Although that Texas championship video isn’t too bad, pinky or not. I might have watched it a time or two before…

Looks like he may have been transitioning at this point– you can tell his right hand is wanting to come free.
Also, maybe I need to start doing that between-songs right hand warm up…

Actually for the first little bit he floats and then the second line his pinkie comes down. Also Old Joe Clark he floats.
