I play new songs all the time; the only catch is they are just slight derivatives on the songs I’m actually trying to play, Salt Creek definitely doesn’t have about 10% notes I just played so I’m calling it Saltier Creek

Ah, well then, thanks for putting things into perspective for me, much appreciated. I think I’ll work on some new tunes this afternoon then such as Blackberry Shrub, Three Pound Wrench, Foggy Mountain Traffic Jam, Bury Me Beneath This Stupid Oak Tree That Drops Pollen and Ugly Green Silk Worms All Over My House, and Elderly Maggie
