No NOT Whataburger - Five Guy's

Yes we are in Georgia. Some locations don’t always have peanuts but there is one that usually always has them. Hopefully yours will

Those replys are all good ones & we also have the peanuts in Alabama.

Well in that case I guess I got to try one. I have to say I am not a big fan of burgers but I do like to try-out new foods.

So does it really take 5 guys to make one burger?

So I gotta ask what’s the best thing on the menu?

I have checked out a few images and I am worried I may regret saying I do like to try-out new foods.

From what I remember it’s mostly just hamburgers and I think hot dogs too. The little burger is a good size and price and not too small. The bacon cheeseburger is of course great but it’s kinda pricey, at least when multiples of us go. It’s all good!

Get the little bacon cheeseburger, all the way, add jalapeños! The regular burger will be too big, most likely.

I will keep you posted.

I do like 5 guys burgers. It is good for a chain. I wasn’t a super fan of the fries, but perhaps I hit them on a bad day. Perhaps working against 5 guys where I am is an In N Out about a 5 iron away. If given the choice between a double double animal style with extra crispy fries and 5 guys, I am gonna typically go to in and out.

If anyone is around the DFW area, I think my favorite burger is Grumps. They allow ordering less than medium well and they have a killer jalapeno sourdough bun. Fresh made chips and fries, free peanuts, etc. A great little place. My favorite burger place of all time is longhorn cafe in San Antonio. I think they may have put a little opium or something in the burger, because it sure was addictive. That was over 20 years ago, so I hope they are still there and awesome.

Of course my idea of when a burger is too big may not be mainstream. Here’s one from “slider” night…

Any of you guy’s been to Germany and tried out Curry Wurst and Pomme Frites with mayo now that’s what I call a great takeout. I don’t know what they do to their fries but they taste so good.

Another favorite of mine is Freddy’s if any of you have one near you. The fries are the best - especially the seasoning they use.

sehr gut

I am afraid my German is not so good. Regrettably I didn’t keep up with my studies. I learned just enough to get by… I can order food, bier and schnapps. I know the road signs. but not much else.

I ate at Five Guys here in Colorado for the first time in a couple of years recently. Regular cheeseburger, medium fries, medium soft drink - $20.83. Then I bought some $4.09 / gallon gas. Awesome day!…

Usually when just a few of us go we get one large order of fries to split. It’s always been plenty of food especially with peanuts as an extra free side
