It’s hard to go wrong with a Collings. Looks like a D2H-A.

So if you’re not going to Artisan & Gruhn’s now until July, will we be seeing yet another great purchase like maybe a Beourgois here in the guitar section?

Congratulations Bulldog, let us know how it sounds by posting a video soon if possible.

Good eye J.W. thats what it is with the “vintage now” neck and 1 3/4" nut. Don’t think I’ll be buying anything from Artisans or Gruhns next month unless it has D’Addario or Lifespan on the box. This one set me back a little! Got a guitar and mandolin for sale now to cover some of the cost for the Collings. Appreciate the congrats.

Can’t say I have ever played a Collings myself but hear they are about as good as it gets.

Hey Bulldog, NICE!! I have had my Collings D2HA now for about 6 mo. or so, man it will just keep getting better! I love mine, most likely the one guitar I will never sell…Congrats!! Jerry :mrgreen:

Yes congratulations on making me jealous LOL (humor ) I bet the sound is sweeter than it looks and it looks great, love it . have good time with your new guitar .

Thanks guys. I’m still having to adjust to the neck but it’s coming along. Dang these small hands! I’m use to a Martin low profile style neck with a 1 11/16" nut and this one is a little bigger. I find I like the string spacing on the 1 3/4" nut though, especially for flatpicking fiddle tunes. This thing is really loud.
