Lesson Query - Rhythm Guitarists

Hi Guy’s & Gal’s

Can someone please point me towards guitar lessons covering riffs/licks which lead the listener to a chord change - passing chords etc. Ideally I am looking for tunes/chord progressions and turnarounds that will help me focus on ear training - to help me improvise on my banjo backup.

Guitar leads - predicting a chord change is coming up.

I hope this makes sense to y’all

I’d start with these, probably:

Thanks @Michael_Mark much appreciated. I am really only looking for guitar lessons - Something I can play along with that features leading the listener through chord changes.

In terms of guitar, 1, 4, 5 blues in 12 bars is a great way to learn this. guitartricks.com has some great lessons, and I believe you can get a free trial period.

The latter two are guitar lessons, but I included the Alan Munde lesson because they discuss what you’re asking about- hearing the signals for chord changes.

Thanks @Michael_Mark Sure I understand why you suggested it - I have been through that course about a half dozen times.

Thanks Jack, not looking to learn guitar, just practice playing banjo along with guitar.

Archie, I don’t know if this would qualify or satisfy your expectations, here is a song, and I guess you can use as many chords as you like from 3 chords with each measure can be a chord. In his time, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et5JEMI_rsY

Archie…. Did you ever find what you were looking for? If not, Email me at ffog@me.com and let’s see if we can collaborate on something to meet your needs. If you ask this question, then there are probably others who would benefit as well.
