Guitar Chord - Strum Patterns - Help

Hi guy’s when it comes to guitars I am at a loss and need your help. I am tabbing in a tune and I need the following chords. Can someone please point me to a lesson that covers these strum patterns.

G C D D7 Em A7 Am

The strum pattern depends on the song (meter, etc.) Usually the chord names are just written over the tab, not the actual rhythm of them tabbed out. Do you mean you want to know the notes in each chord?

Hi Libby what I am trying to create is a quarter note (chord) strum to mimic a quarter note (chord) pinch on a banjo. So the notes of the chord are stacked. If you follow.

I think you can find most of that in Intermediate Guitar Rhythm. If you want a shortcut, though, you can copy/paste from this file:
