I only have a not very nice Martin kit that we put together with the help of a friend. I had Randy wood adjust the neck angle so it at least plays fine.
But I am getting Randy wood to build me a custom D18 like Libby and Timothy have now- it should be done within the next month hopefully!
My dream guitar would be like everyone else, a 30’s D18
Guess What? It’s National Guitar Day!
I have a custom Zach Hoyt Dreadnought, Spruce over Black Walnut.
I also have a Journey OF660 collapsible carbon travel guitar, a Squier Affinity Strat, and my mom’s old 7/8 size classical guitar.
If I could have another one it would either be a Henderson D18, or that Nashville guitar Co guitar (D28 level 1 distress IIRC) that Jake let me play last time I stopped by the store.
It’s National Guitar Day again! Any additions to anybody’s collection since last year? Anyone get their dream guitar
? Or for people who weren’t on here last year, what guitar(s) do you own?
I recently got an old electric Gibson ES 330 from my uncle (was my grandpa’s), and I’ve got a custom Gallagher guitar in process. Also got a dobro recently, but I don’t know if that counts.
I focus mostly on mandolin, but I have the following guitars:
Early 2025 Zager ZAD 900CE Spruce/Rosewood. I play it for fun every once in a while and when I want to hear the guitar sound.
1968 or 1969 Yamaha red label my dad bought new. I have not played it in several years. It can play, but it is not in the best shape. It would need to have some work done to get in really good playable shape, though it is structurally sound, as far as I know.
I got my Martin D28 last October, and I’m loving it!
Happy national guitar day everyone! No new guitars for me this year.
I have Martin D28, PWGC HD, Collings Baby, and Bourgeois LDBO.
Would love a sweet little triple 0 PWGC but alas I would need to sell something first.
YOU know this
but, I got a Taylor 314ce-RW LTD. Rosewood but, I’d love a Gallagher Shelby Mahogany or, a Santa Cruz Tony Rice Signature Model Dreadnought
