Deering Maple Blossom Banjo

Can anyone speak to how good a Deering Maple Blossom Banjo is? How does it compare to other banjos with similar price points?

It’s real good, as are all upper line Deering banjos.
I play a maple Sierra. I had the chance to play both, but my untrained ear at the time couldn’t discern a significant difference. The pot assembly is the same.
For me it boiled down to cosmetics. The Maple Blossom is shiny & the Sierra is not.
Here’s what others had to say-

If I was guessing, I would guess you really want the Maple Blossom & would like to be talked out of it.

Good guess lol. But actually I don’t play the banjo, so it would be for my sister, but I might have the opportunity to buy one at a significantly discounted price… and just wanted to make sure it was a good banjo. I wouldn’t want to throw away too much money on a banjo, of all things .

Hey, a banjo is a good thing to invest in! Be nice to the banjo! (Just don’t pay attention to all the banjo jokes I’ve told on The humor thread (formerly Sunday funny)!

I don’t have anything against the banjo. If it wasn’t for the guitar, I would probably play banjo . But I like guitar better.

I have it on good authority that Ben is going to change “Cabin Camp” to “Re-Education Camp” for people like you.:banjo::sunglasses:

I gotta admit, I’m the same. Guitar is definitely my favorite!
