Ha! Reminds me of a joke I made up on a family road trip…making up jokes is one way we pass the time.

Why did the T-Rex lose the war?

He had too small armies.

Priorities.

Yep. Ever since they got the Gibson & Martin, the Darlings had to live in a shack, eat off the land & drive a 30 year old truck.

Some things never change.

What else could they do with all that money they got from doing them TV shows. They wouldn’t want to spend it on shoppe bought food whilst they had good eating off the land. And buying a new truck well that’s plumb wasteful when there’s still about 30 years life left in that old truck. They could do what Jed Clampet did and move to Beverly but hauling that shack on the back of that 30 year old truck seems a bit pointless when it’s doin right fine where it is. Besides they don’t make moonshine out west like we do.

Nice spin, haha.
I think I know the secret. It’s opportunity economy vs “opportunity” economy (i.e. opportunists’ economy), at least in part.
I have explained it elsewhere a few months before, maybe will explain it in rights thread.

Nate Lee made reference to a youtube video that had him and Sam Bush duel with fiddle bows for his blue chip pick. I had to look it up, it’s actually pretty funny. They have some other guests along with the band show what they would do for their blue chip (I guess it was a parody of the “What Would you do for a Klondike bar” commercials)

With the water shortage coming, the church council voted to change the name to the “First Southern Baptist of Sutter Gulch.”

I see you have a dry sense of humor.

How much water do First Southern Baptist’s need?

I’m gonna guess that the water needed would be enough for an immersion.
