I apologize for posting something unrelated to pickin’ but just wanted to remind folks of the significance of today’s date and the sacrifices made by the brave young men storming the beaches of Normandy.

Nothing to sorry about I want to stand with them the bravest men in the entire world saved us from dictatorship, Hard life was averted . More young ones need to learn about our fighting men and women and why they fought so hard for us .
It’s hard to believe it has been 72 years (if my math is good). I remember growing up, and there were people in my little home town who were there on the beach. There are not a great deal of WWII vets left, but there are billions who are affected by their service.
