Cold weather buzzing!

I play in my church choir and there is a Takamine F360s that I love to play that stays in the church. It sounds great but when the weather is cold it buzzes like CRAZY until it warms up from my hands.

Any suggestions on how to get it to stop buzzing?

Thanks,

Interesting. Does it buzz because the action is too low? Maybe a fret issue? Seems strange that it would buzz due to the temperature. I know temperature affects wood and causes it to expand or shrink due to humidity, cold, or heat, but not sure the change would be that immediate. Usually a buzz is due to string action too low, a bridge or nut issue. Curious what a luthier would recommend.

I don’t know what kind of truss rod adjustment the guitar has, but give it just a touch of truss rod relief (raising the action just a bit) and it’ll probably stop it.

I don’t think the action is too low, because it plays perfectly the way I like a guitar to play when it is warm and I don’t think it is a fret because it only buzzes when it’s cold.

I’ll probably just have to play with it, I was just wondering if this was a common issue on older guitars from the 70’s.
