With a proper case, I take mine almost anytime. The rules for me are simple: keep it in a tent shade by day, take it with me inside by night. Don’t get it too close to the fire to avoid the worst. Don’t leave it inside the car for a long period of time.
Still, if your guitar is sort of expensive or somehow dear to you - I’d think twice about bringing it on a camping trip. Just as Luke suggested, I got a separate acoustic for my tent trips because of it.
