That’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. I was wondering, how did you arrange that? Did you just meet them afterwards and ask them?

Fantastic!

They are our teachers on ArtistWorks. It’s because they’re our teachers that we were able to connect; I don’t think it normally would have happened. Sierra and Lucy had it arranged beforehand. We had to walk around behind the building where their bus was parked because the band wasn’t doing meet-n-greet on this tour.

Out of curiosity, why did you pick Ab?

It’s the key we just recorded this song on our new album in. Bryan knew I was working on this since I had sent in my solo a few times as video exchanges on Artistworks. He suggested jamming it. :slightly_smiling_face:

Wait, y’all take lessons from people who aren’t Jake??
That was really cool, what/who’s band is that?

The band is Bela Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart. We’ve been members of ArtistWorks for several years. It’s not private lessons but video exchanges.

And they did Tony Rice’s Cold on the Shoulder and I liked it. @Michael_Mark

Well of course you did. Who wouldn’t…

It’s actually not Tony Rice’s, it’s Gordon Lightfoot’s. Which kinda makes me want to hear a Bryan Sutton Sings Tony Rice Sings Gordon Lightfoot album…

Oh that makes sense, I’ve liked what I’ve seen of that project on YouTube

It’s awesome! I’d love to see them live, but unfortunately they aren’t doing any shows near me. I guess that’s what I get for being a middle-of-nowhere country boy :sob::joy:
