Blue Railroad Train - Verse vs Break

I’ve been practicing Blue Railroad Train for a few weeks now, and I’m just realizing there’s something different going on between the break and the verse. I always knew the verse had the measure where it alternates between the 4 and the 1 and then back to the 4, it’s between the two phrases. But if I try to play that progression as backup for the break it doesn’t work. It appears that the break doesn’t have that extra measure and it just goes straight to the 4. Can anyone confirm if this is really going on? Thanks😁

The timing on the Tony Rice break is tough!

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought Ben was still the Tony expert! :joy:

I’ve studied him quite a bit, but I know so many folks that have forgotten more about Tony than I could ever learn.

This is really the first Tony Rice break I have tackled, I appreciate his timing more now than I did before!
