BEWARE: this ain’t no part of nothin

Hey slow them down and you can play country!! Actually, I’ve heard enough country that I can play it decently well if I want. Rock and jazz guitar I have never tried nor do I want to.

That begs the question, who is in the light?!

Ooooh, that’s heavy!

As a canoeist, I can tell you we are in the light, while many kayakers are called “darksiders,” because they spend so much time upside down, looking at the dark side of the river!

Man, that’s purdy! I love that sunburst.

Ben gave the best advice. Compared to what you’re used to, it’s going to feel like you’re barely touching the strings.

I played in a cover band for a few years and my Strat was my main workhorse. For starting out, I recommend a Fender Mustang amp. You can get tons of sounds out of them for fairly little money. Or, you can get an app for your phone like Amplitube if you just want to play with headphones. It’ll require an adapter you can get at Guitar Center. Tons of cool things you can do with it… including recording.

Get ready to get hooked.

That’s what I have, it’s pretty cool. You can go from jazz to a country tele sound to classic rock and everything in between with the turn of a knob.

Have you gotten in to programming your own pedal combos using the Fender app? I came up with a really close sound for Money for Nothing. I got compliments on how good that particular patch was.

Well I have no idea what that means so I guess not :joy:
