Sounding great Gunnar
Thank you!
How does it feel to see and hear all the people perform for you and know that you inspired and taught them HERE?
All of you are GREAT! WOW
You must feel so proud and joyful of our shared accomplishments!
Heck, I am amazed and proud just from seeing all this talent from all these fine folks.
This site is THE BEST!
Here’s my feeble guitar entry… there’s a reason this one is called “Advanced”! Any tips on getting rid of some of the tension in my picking hand? I guess I feel like I have to anchor firmly since I’m a banjo player.
You may have ignored a few rules Mike. But I enjoyed your arrangement.
Thanks Archie…I really enjoy that style of playing 'cause that’s how Earl done it!
Doesn’t look or sound tense to me. That said, if you can get it looser, do so. Looser is better. It sounds like over-simplification, but just make yourself get looser. Before you play loosen from the shoulder (wiggle), elbow (wiggle) and then wrist and fingers (flop). Shave 20 BPM off… is that looser? Then stay there a bit, then creep up the speed and re-evaluate. Great job!
@mharrison43 awesome I wish Ben would allow us to come up with our own arrangements. Your style reminds me of Eric O’Hara.
Ha!
Had fun playing this, thanks for the practice motivation!
Brilliant Jason. Nothing like starting them early.

It’s rough, but that’s why this is a participation contest
