Banjo Ben Cabin Fever Contest...& FREE SHIPPING!

@banjoboyk,

My sympathies to you and your family (especially Grandma) with the passing of grandpa.

Changes seem dramatic and plentiful in your life right how for sure.

On another note, hopefully coming here among friends helps… as well as the therapy music provides.

God’s Blessings, Kaleb!

@banjoboyk,

That is a common tale here. I am STILL getting up the courage to post…

Camera-courage - as that thing plays havoc and regardless of what level you are at… the camera is good for +2 on the flub-o-meter.

Well, excluding @Dragonslayer as he posts enough to overcome that… In sheer volume (and talent, I might add!):laughing:

What is it about that darned device :camera_flash: ?

Like, when you want to show your parents you can finally do that back-flip into the pool… after 20 successful practice attempts in a row…

They watch… and you belly-flop! :joy:

Good to see you here again…

Here’s my entry. Just the easy part at the slowest tempo.

Hi Kody, Kudo’s on your baby sitting challenge, it’s hard enough trying to focus with the flashing red light let alone a brood of toddlers at your feet. Hat’s off to you : :tophat::tophat::tophat:

@zcode,

That was really great! Personally, I like your playing on the slower tempo (good songs sound good played slow or fast, I have noticed - especially hymns) because you played it so clean.

I liked it and I hope you post often now that you are here! GOOD JOB!

So sorry for your loss Kaleb. I know what it’s like to loose someone close. I think it’s best to try to keep busy. My grand kids have been sent home from school with Scotland now on the COVid19 lock down. Stay safe

@WillCoop Flub-o-meter:rofl::rofl: Yeah, I can get up and play in front of a few hundred people and not miss a lick but that stupid camera turns on and I become all thumbs. :roll_eyes: I have a mic and my own computer now so hopefully I can do more and it will get easier.

@Archie Thanks. All my classes moved to online as well because schools here are closed down too. Not my favorite but I’ll make it work.

I’ve had so much fun learning these solos and I want to thank @BanjoBen for hosting this contest! Here’s my banjo entry, it’s a little off beat and sloppy in some areas but I though I’d give it a shot.
