I’m creating this thread after I posted a brief (and hopefully not offensively-received) reply to @Bhive on the humor thread.
So, let’s open the topic, keeping it friendly, of course…authentic.
Disclaimer: I use AI every day in my business and am on the trajectory of using it more. However, I do not use it in content creation or content editing. As of right now, I am ethically opposed to doing so. However, I feel this is an issue of liberty. I’m not going to force my viewpoint on other “creators”. I’m still working out my thoughts and positions as technology keeps zooming into the horizon. I may never catch up, but one thing I know: I value human-created content more today than I did a year ago, or a month ago.
I don’t want to lose it, and I don’t think we will. I think AI will actually create a premium on authentically-created content/art. Therefore, what I view as my biggest “enemy” is the attempt to pass AI-created content off as authentic, human-created art. Let’s discuss.
