Arkansas Twister

Drove through Mayflower last Sunday where a deadly F4 tornado had swept through two weeks before. The desctruction was unbelievable. Thought I’d share a few photos. The first pic is where a neighborhood by Lake Conway use to be with houses on both sides of the road.

Wow. That’s amazing destruction. I saw some aerial views and the size of the tornado is tough to comprehend.
I pray that those who lost family and friends are comforted, their needs are being met, that they are finding some peace and recovering from their loss.

Scary! I used to live in Montana where forest fires were a yearly concern and now I live in Florida where we have to deal with hurricanes, but neither are as frightening as a tornado. They can be so powerful and give so little warning.
