I actually tried deep opera singing today and my siblings were thoroughly impressed.
Anybody down for another young picker collaboration?
Dare ya to post a video…
I legitimately want to know your vocal range
I didn’t know he sang
Hahahahahahahahahaha… No.
I don’t. My sister was watching a cooking show and an instrumental Santa Lucia was playing as background music. So I started “opera” singing to it and all my siblings insisted it was great
It’s probably around 14ft.
Just curious, did this go anywhere?
Not that I know of…
I was reading through the thread, and was hoping for an end product
I’m scrolling through the other collaberations, and only found 1 that got finished, and that was only 2 people
Are there any others?
Nevermind, found several!
If we wanted to try it again, I wouldn’t mind singing the lead for this song. I would not do so well with a mandolin solo unless it was straight melody .
I also wouldn’t mind offering my services, though I’m not super familiar with the song, but unless someone takes charge nothing will get done…
Not it!
I think we’d be more than happy to either expand or hand off this collaboration to our new young pickers on the forum. @Zachary I’d be more than happy to have you sing lead!
I can also cut a new rhythm track once we’ve determined who all is in, or we can use Strum Machine in the meantime.
Only rule is @Mason_Crone has to take my banjo spot. It was no good anyway. I’ll play guitar.
Sounds like a plan.
It was better than what a would have done!
I do have a bass guitar I can play as well, unless if someone else wants to play the bass.
What song is it again?
“Hallelujah, I’m Ready to Go” is the title, as a reference, Headin’ Home Bluegrass has done it as well as the Doucettes and Kentucky Thunder have done it.
@Michael_Mark I found the lyrics, but I was wondering if you happened to have the chords for the song.
