Another resonator question

Is there a big difference in sound from one classified as “bluegrass” versus “blues”, or is it (as it seems to be in most things guitar) more about the player and how it’s played?

Before you say it, yes, I know I should play several to get a solid feel but there’s literally maybe two or three resos in Omaha, NE. So, it’s here an Youtube that I turn.

My guess would be they are referring to the difference between a biscuit bridge and a spider bridge style resonator, the later being louder and more typical in bluegrass.
