Son of a gun! It did it to me again! Said I had a win streak of 66 this morning when I was done. Went back to the page just now and it reset my streak! That’s the 3rd time.

@Mark_Rocka I did a search and found an article. It looks like you can go into the storage and correct it if you want. I am using Chrome on a PC. Go to the wordle site. Hit F12 to go into devtools. Click on Applications, then Local Storage on the left. Click on the nytimes… etnry and you should see a key for nyt-wordle-statistics. Click on that. You can then edit that key value (use notepad to have more real estate).
Here’s the article. I found the stats locally but did not mess with them:

Thanks Mike, but I’m using the Safari browser on my iPhone. I quickly looked at the link, but I don’t think any of that applies to my situation. The last time this happened, I created an account on the Wordle page hoping that would resolve the problem. It didn’t. I’d have a streak of probably around 200 by now if this hadn’t happened.
I think this is just the universe’s way of telling me “that’s enough of that.”
