I’m in a small group of mostly guitars, and I’m the only mando. One gal seems to play most of her music capo 3 frets up in order to accomodate her voice I guess. As I understand it that means playing in A#/Bb for the key of G. So do I need to learn the best positions to play that chord triad or would a simpler A chord be close enough?
Which key to accomodate guitar capo?
Howdy @jllvy!
I would take what I normally play in A and move it up one fret. This wouldn’t apply to open chords, of course, just the closed ones. Does that help? Let me know, happy to help you more.
