What Mr. Ben Clark is really about

I know we’re all here to learn to play, but for some of us there’s alot more to it. (I’ll spare you my life story).
So I showed up at one of his camps and due to some personal emotional baggage, I just up and left after a day and a half. He emailed me from his personal account to check on me. This was 3 or 4 months ago. I emailed him last week just to let him know I was doing better, and he IMMEDIATELY sent me a personal email back that was encouraging.
I honestly believe that Mr. Clark’s outfit is doing what they’re doing for the right reasons. (To make the dream of layin down hot licks come true!) LOL
You never know what someone else is going through, and Ben is very kind in that way. Sometimes even old pickers just need a friend. Thanks Ben, see ya soon.

Hi Jeff, Glad to hear your getting back on track. @BanjoBen is a truly valued friend in my life too even though we have never met he has always been there for me since I found him as a young man teaching banjo on YouTube. We are all blessed to have him.

@BanjoBen has always cared in a way that a genuine friend would. The other aspect of Ben, that also has been discussed on this sight, is the fact that he is a down to earth fun loving guy.

Hey JD, good afternoon and may the Lord richly bless you.
Your statement, “you never know what someone else is going through” is one everybody should take to heart.
For most of my adult life I’ve cringed every time I hear on person greet anther with the question, “How are you?”. In or clinic it’s a offense that may well initiate a conversion about a career change. We never know what tragedy may have just befallen the person to whom we’re greeting. Asking that question quite simply places them in a position in which they likely feel obliged to tell you all is elk when in fact things are far from well.
We teach each of our staff members to greet individuals by telling them they’re happy to see them, then give them a simple compliment or say something uplifting to them. The queer looks we generate with new staff members is at times comical, however when the light comes the changes in personalities is always astounding and very nice to see.
Keep turning the crank!!!
J
