When I was getting my grad degree music composition one of the things I did as a self assigned project was to develop various “amen” endings.

That’s nice. In my hometown church in India, we used to sing different Amen’s! It’s in Tamil.

Good stuff! I hadn’t thought about voice crossing in harmonies for many years. I started to say that I hadn’t heard of that, but I think I probably did back in school. Anyway, that’s a good thing to put in the quiver when thinking about harmonies.
