Archie my oldest is a Bio Molecular (Chem w/bio minor) Engineer. She just turned 23 and picked up her master’s in Data Analytics.
Why am I telling you this? Straight out of college and making 6 figures…tell your granddaughter to stick with it, is in high demand and the future.
She was hired in healthcare. She’s the 2nd one hired in the dept they created called “Clinical Data”. She’s building a dept in a 70K employee company that makes use of gathering and sorting all that medical data for productive use.
Congrats to your granddaughter.

Thanks @Oldhat2 Jesse Yep the one thing ALL my grandchildren know is where the money is at. Unlike me who left school with no qualifications and had to struggle to raise two daughters. I live pretty modestly now but I am free of all debts. My second youngest granddaughter who is dyslexic is staying on at high school and is studying to become a Physical Education / Dance Instructor Amazingly she has consistently scored higher results in Physical Education over all students in the schools history and has gained recognition for this from the head teacher. She too hopes to go to university or college next year. I am grateful that her school has identified her dyslexia and are helping her overcome her difficulties. She too had good results on her Scottish Higher Exams. Her final year will be focused on subjects she needs for a university placement which include math where she has some difficulty. Her biggest attributes is her popularity and her selflessness in helping others.

I just saw one of the speakers of the Sing! Conference of 2022. That was John Lennox. And Oh Man! What a fantastic message! Have any of you attended this in the past? Is it simply for songwriters? Would it be of tremendous benefit for the average picker who isn’t a songwriter?

I’ve been to parts of it as it’s held in Nashville. Knowing the little that I do about you, you would absolutely love it. FYI, John Lennox is the uncle of Kristyn Getty…pretty crazy to have both of them in the same family.
