Well I’m making this a Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder Week. I got tickets to see Ricky Skaggs a couple hours east of me in Vicksburg, MS several months ago and then a few weeks later they announce another show a couple hours west of me in Shreveport, LA (just happened to be the day before the Vicksburg show). I looked this morning and there were lots of good seats in Shreveport so I got a couple seats. So we are going to follow them across from Shreveport on Thursday to Vicksburg on Friday (I wish they would just stop half we in between the locations for my convenience :joy: )

Still trying to get myself back to regular banjo practice. I spent two hours yesterday and never managed to play through an entire tune. I feel a bit down at the moment lacking incentive. Hoping to get out and about at the weekend. Been stuck at home since I got out of hospital. Had my final visit today from the district nurse and managed to cut the lawn.

This is just not fair!!! Everybody but me… :cold_sweat:

To make me madder, Jake told me the other day they HAD been booked to play Silver Dollar City on the 27th (same day we’ll be there) and for some reason the booking turned into Dailey & Vincent. He didn’t know why it changed. :rage:

The other guitar player was this guy named Jake Workman. They put on a great show. I even ran into this teacher and Banjo player named @BanjoBen .
