@BanjoBen I will be praying for you! “Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; And as thy days, so shall thy strength be.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭33‬:‭25‬ ‭‬‬
This verse has been a source of strength to me during similar time stretches I’ve had, that had so much packed into them I was just overwhelmed. Because even though every happening was fun, it required more energy than I thought I had. I’ve always gotten through these times with everything accomplished, just trying to keep calm and trust God one day at a time. I’m sure you will too and you’ll have a GREAT time in the process!!

@BanjoBen I’m sure this singer has a lot of confidence in you to have you producing his album. Sounds like you’ve put a lot of work in already.

For what it’s worth, I wrote a bluegrass song about you… hope you enjoy it.

(Verse 1)
Well, there’s a man in Nashville, with a heart of gold
He’s a master with strings, and his talent’s untold
He’s known to all as Banjo Ben
A record producer like no other man

(Chorus)
Banjo Ben, Banjo Ben
His music’s sweet as a summer wind
He’ll make you sound like a king
With his magic touch on everything

(Verse 2)
He’s got a studio up on the hill
Where the music flows and the drinks refill
He’ll sit you down and pick up his banjo
And you’ll know right then it’s time to go

(Chorus)
Banjo Ben, Banjo Ben
His music’s sweet as a summer wind
He’ll make you sound like a king
With his magic touch on everything

(Bridge)
He’s played with the best, and he knows his stuff
He’ll make you sound like you can’t get enough
And when you’re done with your recordin’ day
He’ll even teach you how to play

(Chorus)
Banjo Ben, Banjo Ben
His music’s sweet as a summer wind
He’ll make you sound like a king
With his magic touch on everything

(Outro)
So here’s to Banjo Ben, the man with the sound
He’ll make you famous all around
If you need a record, don’t you worry my friend
Just head on down to Banjo Ben.

I co-wrote this with my friend ChatGPT

We are being benefitted from his lessons, therefore, Lord, let @BanjoBen prosper in the work he sets out to do. Deal bountifully with him that he may find rest for his soul.

Just got out of hospital again. 8 day stay this time.
Staff was great and made some very bad days into a tolerable stay.

Some good news and some bad…still lots of testing to happen this week and lots of things to keep an eye on.

right now just climbing each hill as it comes up.

Your in my thoughts & prayers @Fiddle_wood Dave. It’s been nearly 3 months since my op and I am starting to get pretty edgy, still stuck in at home, desperate to get out and about but my wound is slow to heal. Don’t think I be fit enough till late summer.

I can relate Archie!
I can get myself out & around but still very limited. No long trips, no big walks, don’t dare go too long without out being near a bathroom, etc.
I have a walker & cane to use when needed.

Hope you get feeling better asap Archie.

Hi Dave It’s tough to stay positive, when you are stuck at home. Nurses say my wound is healing well but I get really depressed when I have an accident with the stoma bag.

Archie,
I have two granddaughters who have colostomies—they’ve had them since birth. Elise, the one you saw in the video, had a bag bust yesterday that ruined her mom’s pajamas. Elise was devastated all day. I wish I could shout loud enough from the rooftops for all to hear that bodily “accidents” mean nothing to those that love you. Hang in there.
