A question about the way points. So you show them in G and C so I have been playing around with them some, so can these combinations be used in other keys? Like the G way points be used for D

Yes! Essentially, you can take the C waypoints and move them up two frets (since C is one step away from D, and one step is two frets), and you’re now playing D waypoints.
The open fifth string may sound odd with the rolls, though; so most banjo players spike (capo) the fifth string up to an A note (seventh fret) so it will fit in the D chord.
