Like many, I tuned in to the Banjo Ben Christmas Party last night and had a ball!
But I suspect in addition to relating a few tales he should have kept to himself, Ben was checking the eggnog a bit too frequently. I say this because he must have accidentally said my name when announcing the gift card winners.
I’m one of those people who never win nuthin’. I’m OK with that, as the raffle tickets are generally for a good cause. I spent all my working years giving away prizes on the radio, no purchase necessary. Naturally, I was never eligible to win anything, even from competing radio stations. Hearing my name last night truly stunned me. What the heck, let’s follow through with it!
I contacted Amy per instructions, got a wonderful reply and was turned loose, a kid in the candy store!
Turns out, I really didn’t win anything. Every thing I wanted said in bold letters, SOLD OUT. Figures.
Suddenly, there they were, gleaming & shining and glistening and ringing like a golden bell. I am about to join the ranks of the elite!
