Travel size banjo for child

I am looking to start my 5 year old grandson playing the banjo, any suggestions on a banjo for him? Was wondering if the Deering travel/child or equivalent or just start him on a full sized.

Would you be comfortable starting him on a full-sized bicycle, or one that fits him better for now?
More importantly, how does your grandson feel about playing the banjo? We all get frustrated as beginners, and the weight & uncomfortable size of a grown-ups banjo may make the frustration worse.
I hate to give advice, but love to weigh pros & cons.
In this case, I think the pros favor a child size banjo for a child size human. I’m sure he could always borrow yours when he’s ready to take off the training wheels.

I was thinking about getting a plucky because they sound like they would be fun. Looks like they are sold out, but if interested, I’d call on Monday and see if they have any idea when more might arrive.

For a five year old I’d get one on these- Vangoa Mini Banjo 5 String Small Travel 26 Inch Set, Portable Tenor Banjo Beginner Kit for Kids Teens Youth Adults https://a.co/d/98m56Vq

A few of us have had those and they’re just fine for beginners and very affordable. I’ve had several Pluckys and they aren’t any better.

We’re placing more orders for the Pluckys. That’s what I have for my kiddos. It’s fun and easy to play though not in standard G tuning.
