Tips on melodic banjo?

I’m having trouble playing melodic banjo

Just take your time and keep it slow. Our brains and fingers are used to hearing higher notes on the lighter strings. Melodic playing can turn that on its head sometimes, playing a higher note on a lower string. It’s easy to get frustrated it. Just keep at it and it will feel natural before too long.
