I refuse to play guitar in Bb. :unamused: Would B suffice?

Exactly. Give me a break???

What do you have against capo 3? :joy:

Capo at first fret to make it an A??

Wait I’m allowed to capo on this??? I had a friend I played with who didn’t think a capo was for “respectable” guitar players and didn’t like me using one. Never mind, capo 3 it is…

I didn’t watch this till now. My goodness, the things they come up with :joy::joy::joy:

You can totally capo! Everyone does it. That friend had no idea what they were talking about to be honest :joy::joy:

I think the idea is this. If you want to play open chords, or music based primarily on open chords (country, bluegrass…), use capo as needed. You got to be really good to not use capo but why stretch.

Tony Rice capoed and so does Jake Workman so it’s all good. :+1:

Open chords sound always better!

Man, you broke the fast! (See status)

Capo 3 and play out of G
You can even tune to 432 so it’s not technically Bb

That was a classical or electric guitarist? Even Fingerstyle guitarists use capos, and that’s about as respectable as guitar players get.

It’s against argument, not mentions. He mentioned both equally, so it’s fine
