But otherwise, we avoid serious religious subject matter discussion here in this forum. If you are of DL age and/or you have consent from your parents, we can discuss privately. We have a private thread for Christianity discussion, I can add you in if youā€™d want so you can review what was discussed!

I totally understand that! I would love to be a part of that thread. Understand, though, that I process everything I hear through the Scriptures, and I strive to be able to back up anything and everything by the Scriptures and/or Biblical principles.

Without wanting to start a debate anything, I just want to clear this statement up a bit - we do try not to argue, :grinning: but Ben is a Christian and his forum is a great place for us to share Christian discussions in the context of music related things. Thatā€™s what many of us really appreciate about this site!

I just mean itā€™s great how this forum often has a Christian perspective to things (although of course many people have different worldviews) and we can all come together in a friendly way. We all, however, prefer to stay out of ā€œfake churchā€ discussions. :slight_smile:

@BanjoBen, I know it is your forum. But just want to clarify thisā€¦

Is that the content that needs your approval or the viewpoint itself? For example, you have the right to allow or not allow any discussion, say religious discussion. But do you approve or disapprove based on a viewpoint in the discussion you allowed? You shouldnā€™t do the latter. Just my thoughts to you.

If I think a viewpoint is wrong and harmful, I will ban it. Iā€™m vehemently opposed to the prosperity health and wealth gospel, and will not allow it to be propagated here. This would apply to many of your views. Thank you for respecting that.

@JohnM Respectfully we donā€™t want you dominating every part of the forum with YOUR approach to Christianity. PM the guy and take it from there. Most of us here are Christianā€™s but we donā€™t all worship in the same way. For example I never quote scriptures. I am Church of Scotland.

I donā€™t know what makes you think I support those fake preachers or their teachings about the so-called prosperity health and wealth preachings? My view on prosperity is different, maybe premature end of some discussions that we didnā€™t have a chance to really get into it. Thatā€™s one of the problems due to viewpoint moderation that you donā€™t get know the view of others. Such moderation is unconstitutional and people do that and if you also follow that it is just unfortunate. You may know this already, but let me reiterate, Iā€™m not here for propaganda, I just participate in discussions. But it is more than some ā€œunacceptableā€ gospel, much deeper, and counter points are intolerable to some!
