I am back on here trying to figure out how to like Mark’s post more than once. That is truly funny.
The humor thread (formerly Sunday funny)
Oh that embarkation happened some time ago and it’s gonna be a long trip.
Well, so some friends of ours are working on translating the bible into the local language, and they’re almost done, they’re just reading it through to make sure there’s no issues. So they get to the place in the new testament where Jesus is walking on the water, and the disciples get scared cuz they think he’s a… leprechaun? They surprisingly don’t have a word for ghost, which is crazy, cuz they’re very superstitious. So anyway, our friend was like, “do you have any word for ghost besides spirit?” And they’re all racking their brains and making phone calls, and they finally come up with leprechaun. Not like little Irishmen, but just little folks who live out in the hills, and are seldom seen, and do mischievous things. But now we’ve been joking about leprechauns walking on water, it’s kind of hilarious
LOL!!! Oh no! It’s Jesus! He thinks we’re stealing his Lucky Charms!
Right?
This song is hilariously bad. Although, it’s catchy enough that all of my little brothers were singing it the next day
Wow. What a find! Love the synth bass.
1:01 and 1:50 and then all through the end “Whhhhaaaa!”
I sadly can take no credit for finding this, my brother heard about it on poddy break (Tim Hawkins’ podcast) and sent a link to us. It is hilarious though
LOL! That’s so bad it’s awesome! I could totally hear this being played by a heavy metal band screaming the lyrics.
I could only stand it for 42 seconds and stopped it
lol. Funny… but I think Mr Hackley has no clue what he is singing! (Clue: Romans 3:10-19 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+3&version=KJV . What Jesus said about evil in Matthew 5:39 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+5&version=KJV . Backhand that starts at the house of God I Peter 4:17-18 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Peter+4&version=KJV . etc. etc.) Now imagine Mr Hackley getting a backhand for not listening to Jesus!
Maybe only little kids like Gunnar’s brothers can sing this song!
On another note, check out this link, this is surprise Hell! https://en.chessbase.com/post/letter-from-hell
Yeah, it’s not quite theologically sound. Actually, it might be if all you read was the old testament… and there’s a few really popular worship songs out there now that are also not theologically correct, but people don’t notice because they’re better musically.
Fortunately they’re not singing it anymore, guess it got old finally.
That’s hilarious, turns out there’s also a place in the Cayman islands called hell, and also a town in new Jersey by the same name, and a town in south Africa called hotazel, which I think literally means hot as hell. Loads of great selfie opportunities…
Oh really, I have lived in NJ and never heard of Hell. Sounds like there is more Hell than I thought of in the Earth!
What Mr Hackley says (sings) is correct. God is not going to tolerate harm to his people. But I wonder what Mr H had in mind on who are this his people, and what is this evil. If I’m going to show from Bible, it is going to be another revelation to the churches of today!
I think kids can have fun with this song, I don’t think it will mess up their mind in a bad way! Maybe, maybe not, I don’t know.
Love that one!
Yeah funny!
