Made my Day!
The humor thread (formerly Sunday funny)
lol
Takes me back to a time when I used to fit light strings on my banjo. Not any more.
Why donât you use a table @Michael_Mark itâs so much easier to fit strings when the instrument is laid on a towel on a table.
Iâm so glad I watched till the end. so relatable.
Iâd love to tell that young man that it gets better with age.
But it doesnât!
The ending is perfect! (But I gotta admit, I love the 1:47 moment!)
Yes @BanJoe he has much to learn. He is lucky he has us old farts to guide him in the ways of the world.
Every. Single. Time.
Nice editing job!
Thanks!
That has to be the most complex puppet Iâve ever seen. His hands could point a finger. His eyebrows/lids moved. His hair moved. How is the puppeteer doing all of that with just strings?
Same thoughts came to my in mind too! It was so very natural! Assuming some type of a programmed device used to facilitate the string pulling.
Well, I wouldnât know, as I never change strings lol. But that was exactly right
Me neither. My motto in this situation is if it isnât broken, donât fix it. So many things in life would be cheaper and simpler if people lived by that!
âCan we start a GoFundMe to get Gunnar some new strings?â
I donât know how you can go as long as you do without changing strings, but then again you never wear shoes either.
On changing strings⌠seems like Iâm not alone! Here was my dumb answer to a dumb question posted some time ago in this forum⌠Dumb question⌠probably - Banjo - Forum - Banjo Ben Clark
So @Michael_Mark, GoFundMe might not be of much help in individual policy decisions!
He doesnât want to change his shoe strings either
Thatâs coz he doesnât wear shoes.
