See, I’d need something like that to play piano period. I am a decent pianist, but my sister is way better. Actually, I figured out the G run from the guitar on the piano, but I can’t figure out how to incorporate it into my playing. It doesn’t work as well as when you’re playing rhythm guitar!

I played piano for around 5 years, give or take. But I switched to guitar and never really looked back😉. But my teacher taught a decent amount of theory so that really helped in my guitar learning.

90% of the theory I know is from piano, so it has really helped. I’m trying to aim for Southern Gospel style piano, but not there yet! Also, I play for church occasionally, when our regular pianist (my sister) can’t play for whatever reason. Those times are few and far between, though.

The style is fairly easy. The tricky part is finding an out-of-tune upright piano & playing it where the acoustics are determined by the thickness of the cinder blocks.
