See, I’d need something like that to play piano period. I am a decent pianist, but my sister is way better. Actually, I figured out the G run from the guitar on the piano, but I can’t figure out how to incorporate it into my playing. It doesn’t work as well as when you’re playing rhythm guitar!

I played piano for around 5 years, give or take. But I switched to guitar and never really looked back😉. But my teacher taught a decent amount of theory so that really helped in my guitar learning.

90% of the theory I know is from piano, so it has really helped. I’m trying to aim for Southern Gospel style piano, but not there yet! Also, I play for church occasionally, when our regular pianist (my sister) can’t play for whatever reason. Those times are few and far between, though. :grin:

The style is fairly easy. The tricky part is finding an out-of-tune upright piano & playing it where the acoustics are determined by the thickness of the cinder blocks.
