TablEdit Query Measure duration

How do you reduce the size of a measure by half. I am working in 4/4 and I want to cut the duration of one measure. I thought I could do this using the Free Bar option in the Key Signature but I forget how to do this.

I have use this feature before to adjust the syncopation of a lick. Again I can’t remember how I did it.

I think it may have been on an earlier version of TablEdit

The grey matter is not as sharp as it once was.

I click on the time signature at the start of the tab and adjust the time signature for whatever measure
