Swiss Band, Oesch die dritten, long time gone

Check out this Swiss Band! I really love it!

You do realize, of course, they desperately need a banjo player.

Since Jens Kruger moved to NC, there’s only one other banjo player I know of in Switzerland. I hope you get the chance to pick with them soon!

Ha! you’re right… yes that would be really fantastic …, but they are just professionals … i’m a beginner … usually they also play in swiss german, and play typical swiss folk music with schwyzerörgeli and yodeling (swiss accordion) then the banjo doesn’t fit so well any more. if someone is interested, I can post something …

Yes please @Severin I love folk music with yodeling. If the band practice in your location why not invite yourself along and see if the banjo fits with some of their tunes. I feel sure they would like to try out with a banjo as much as you

Beautiful scenery @Severin I know Gunnar @Dragonslayer will love these too. He was learning how to yodel a while back.

Pay attention. He knows what he’s talking about!

And when it comes to playing music, we are all beginners to one degree or another.

Not quite. I am very fascinated with it, but I can barely sing, much less yodel. I do hope to learn it one day though
