FULL DISCLOSURE: This is NOT Steve Martin who frequently plays with the Steep Canyon Rangers and gives out an award named for Steve Martin.
This is Steve Martin, a Northern Kentucky attorney and musician who has interviewed Steve Martin, and many others.
Steve Martin had an experience very similar to many of us. “I grew up in Elsmere, KY and we walked up to the local theatre on Dixie Highway in Erlanger, a bunch us went to see Bonnie and Clyde. In the movie, when they were driving away, Foggy Mountain Breakdown is playing and I’m wondering, ‘what is that sound? How can they even do that’? We walked back home and the other guys would say, “How many times were they shot?” Or, “Wasn’t Faye Dunaway gorgeous?” But what I kept thinking was, “How do you make that sound?”
Arrh! You mean it’s NOT the Steve Martin YOU thought it was!
You are absolutely correct! I thought it was Steve Martin.
Now I know your confused that’s Raymond Burr (Ironside) pretending to be Steve Martin.
Don’t you mean this Steve Martin?
Who it reminds me of is the Three Amigos - lucky day! I don’t know if he is the same or different.
No, the one I was thinking about shaves every morning.
Well it can’t be Raymond Burr he keeps his whiskers on
